SWiss Chisels & Gouges
Made in Switzerland by PFEIL. These feature chrome vanadium steel blades finely ground and polished, tempered to RC 59-61 and sharpened ready to use. Octagonal ash handles are fitted to a full bolster and square tang with an internal steel ferrule under the bolster to help prevent the handle from splitting. Ideal for scoring. cleanup of notches, and wherever a good chisel is required. Also very popular with wood carvers both masters and apprentices. Excellent quality and value. Heavy Duty Fishtail GOuges
These Swiss chrome vanadium steel chisels feature strong blades, ergonomic design, and hornbeam handles with heavy duty ferrules. Sharpened, honed and ready to use. All fishtail gouges weigh 13 oz., have 2 3/8” wide blades and are 12” overall length.

All cutting edges are honed razor-shap and ready to use. The inside sweeps are precisely ground and finely polished so sharpening is easy.
